West-coast Weekend.

This weekend was spent at the west coast (of Jylland) at a place called "Kirsten Kjær Museeum". It's also the place where Artëm (also) lives (besides here on the school). It's just outside of Frøstrup, and just next to the Frøstrup Lejren (which is like a country version of Christiania). It's a really nice place, where many artists are living, some all the time, some from time to time. And Artëm is exhibiting at the museum most of the time, along with many other painters and sculptists.
I went there with Artëm, Israel, a Russian friend of Artëms, and 2 girls from the class, who're british and turkish (thats right, i was the only dane on the trip)

The trip was spendt with really good food (Artëm is a wonderful cook, and the british girl made english breakfest... yummie!), collecting mushrooms in the forest meditating at the beach (as you can see on the photo), visiting the museeum, going to old german bunkers and drinking and laughing in the evenings. We also visited a friend of Artëms at the Frøstup Lejren. The weekend was, all in all, superb. Really good!

Here we have everybodys favourite Mexican, at the beach. It's his birthday tomorrow the 4th of october (for you, Monty!), and i bet he's very excited at the picture. The beach was so nice, and there were all these old bunkers from the 2nd World War (which were very good for climbing fun!).

Last week, we finished, and performed, at project Artëm had given everybody, called "Kill A Tree". The mission was to think of as many different possible ways to kill a tree as possible, and then make a grafic image out of it. And the wrap it around the trees.
So that's what we did, basically. And some journalist interviewed Artëm about it. There were some really good ideas in between.

This one, for example.

It's a worn eating the tree, in case you can't see. A good example of a graphic design!

Today i have a meeting with the party comitee, and later i have spanish. Phew. Lots of plans today, but it's good. I will post again soon, i hope, with more news.

Take care everyone.
